A box filled with goodies at your doorstep.. adds color to your day!
My Envy Box reached me last week in one tedious evening. Needless to say, I instantly felt enlivened and peeked into what I got this month. This month’s box is called as the ‘BeautyFull box’ by their team -a great way to start the year!
Price : Rs.850/per month
The box is red in color – the same one they sent me last month! (Xmas Edition) I love variety and so expected a different colored/patterned box this time. The golden colored one they sent me last year (forgot the month!) is still my very favorite. This month, I have got 5 samples.
1. Sebastian Professional Penetrait Shampoo : Rs.1400 for 250 ml
Soon as I opened the box, I was glad to see this deluxed size sample! The small bottle consists of 50 ml of the shampoo, which is good.
2. ZA True White Liquid Foundation – Rs. 950 for 30 ml
I’ve been sent two small sized (2 ml) samples of this foundation in the shade QC 30. I feel so disappointed with the samples as I am neither fond of foundations with high SPF (white cast/photo factor!) nor liking the fact that they send random shades. (I highly doubt if the shade is going to suit my dusky skin). However, I am yet to try it; will share my views on the same once I do.
3. Calvin Klien Endless Euphoria EDP – Rs. 4500 for 125 ml
I used the Paco Rabanne Lady Million EAU sample that I got last month on a very special occasion and totally loved it! Hence, perfumes are always welcomed! This says to be a floral-fruity perfume with notes of cherry blossom, mandarin, sandalwood and musk.
4. Bottega Di Lugavita Face Cream with Collodial Platinum – Rs.3500 for 50 ml
Enriched with collodial platinum, the face cream claims to nourish the skin and fade those dark spots and blemishes. It also claims to be an exclusive anti-aging treatment – which again, is not for me. The only anti aging cream that suits my skin till date is the Omved Gotu Kola Cream. It makes my skin soft and smooth! Do read my current skin care routine to know how I use the product.
Olay moisturizers with anti aging ingredients have always caused breakouts on my facial skin. Hence, I have developed this allergy to anti aging products. I may try this cream once I finish the Omved one. Let me see how it fares!
5. Babor Skin Brightening Lotion – Rs. 5999
I got two sample sachets of the product! The lotion claims to even out complexion with quick and impressive results. The product is so Me! I love products that that even out my skin tone. Fortunately, it doesn’t claim to lighten or whiten the skin! Hence, I am convinced it is chemical/bleach free! This lotion has to be applied to face and neck every morning and evening after cleansing. I shall try it very soon and share my views!
I would call this month’s subscription box a ‘mixed one’ for me with hits and misses. I am liking the Babor lotion, the EDP and the deluxe sized shampoo sample! However, I am expecting different samples from My Envy Box instead of the repetitive lotion/anti aging cream sachets that won’t even be sufficient for 2-3 uses; if not, makeup samples except for the base makeup products (as shade selection always happens to be a problem!). Eagerly waiting for my February box because it is the Valentine’s month!!! Excited?
Have you received your My Envy Box this month? What are your favorites?
