Happy Monday everyone!
I’ve recently hauled few skin care essentials from ClickOnCare.com, a site that sells skin, hair and health care products online. I am sharing my experience and haul today.
Products I got:
1. Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Almond Scrub
My skin responds to Himalaya Herbals’ products quite well. They are usually gentle, natural and effective. I’ve previously tried their neem face pack, a foaming face wash and especially, a cream cleanser (that lathers very less – SLS free) which never failed to impress me. This time I am giving a try on their apricot scrub. Winters are here and hence, my skin needs mild scrubbing to get rid of those dead cells caused due to dry patches. Currently I am using the Omved Gotu Kola Night Cream.
2. Mannequin’s Vitamin E Skin Lotion
I love creams and lotions that contain Vitamin E in them! I often use Vitamin E oil in my DIY recipes be it face packs, hair masks and moisturizers. It makes my skin smooth, soft and clear with every usage. So honestly, the Vitamin E tag dazzled me more than the brand name ‘Mannequin’ that I was hearing for the first time! I so wanted to give this a try and added it to my cart instantly.
3. Dermadew Lite Soap
I got my hands and feet severely tanned this summer. (Due to shopping, scooty rides etc) The tan still doesn’t seem to fade away even a bit. I am wondering if this soap would help me! A sun kissed tan is what I love but I can’t stand the patchy, uneven skin. I want an even toned skin no matter what. Soaps are not my types as I am into shower gels and body washes these days. (I am currently using the Palmolive Crushed Coconut Body Wash) But still, I picked this bathing bar hoping it will remove the tan from my skin leaving it even and soft. I now need to stock up some body butters to compensate the moisture loss caused due to the soap.
4. Melawash Face Wash
I am not sure whether it is the same brand that sells a cream called ‘Melacare’. I picked this for the same reason as above – to remove the stubborn tan from my face. I am strictly not into hydroquinone as it bleaches the healthy skin and gives a white, peeled-the-skin-away kind of appearance that I totally hate! Some might like it but I hate getting my natural brown skin color bleached/lightened. I would want to maintain my dusky complexion, but without that ugly uneven tan. Thankfully, this doesn’t contain hydroquinone. Let me see how it works!
5. Nivea Olive and Lemon Lip Balm
Citrus fragrances have always been a hit for me! I love products that contain lemon/orange extracts as they always smell and feel refreshing on my skin. This is the time of that year when I stock up lip balms like anything. From tinted, non-tinted to SPF variants, I pick them all. The ‘lemon’ caught my eyes and I picked it right away. As it is non-tinted, I’d most probably use it during the nights.
My Views : I am overall impressed with the site and their service! My order reached me safely in 2 working days (packed with lots of bubblewraps safely) Unlike the other usual shopping sites that sell beauty and makeup products, ClickOnCare.com deals with different brands, even the brands that dermatologists suggest you!
I strongly recommend this site to everyone! I shall be placing more orders in future. Stay tuned!
