Glam Up Powder Cream Review

Hello lovely ladies,

This is my first ever post for MABH and I would like to thank Lancy for giving me this wonderful opportunity to share my experience with you all. Today I am going to review Glam Up powder cream from Vini Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd. I bought this product a few months ago & here is my overall experience with it!

Vini Cosmetics came up with this unique combination of powder and cream in a single tube in the form of Glam Up. It is probably the first ever ‘powdered-cream’ in Indian market. It is a smooth textured, light weight cream which is suitable for all skin types. It also protects the skin from sun damage!

glam up cream review

My take on Glam Up powder cream:

The cream comes in a sleek tube packaging. The red colored tube with a shiny silver screw open cap looks pretty attractive. As the cap shuts pretty tightly, so the product is definitely travel friendly.

Talking about the texture of the cream, it is light weight & smooth. This white colored cream glides really well on the face and gives a little moisturizing effect, but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. Very small amount is required to cover your entire face. It stays on the skin for about 4-5 hours. But after 2-3 hours you might feel your t-zone getting a little oily if you have a combination skin like me.

Dry skin beauties might have to apply this cream along with your regular moisturizer. The cream doesn’t leave any whitish cast on the face, gives you a nice matte finish with even skin tone, but doesn’t cover all your marks (like pimple marks). It has a really nice smell, but not very strong and it stays for almost couple of hours after applying the cream. Though my skin is pimple prone, this product doesn’t break me out.

Now coming to the sun protection factor, though this cream claims to protect the skin from sun damage, the SPF factor is not mentioned anywhere on the pack. So it’s always safe to apply your regular sun screen along with it. However, if you want SPF in your product, you can try Lotus Herbals Purestay Foundation. The foundation is light as this cream, with better coverage and SPF.

Likes:
  • Light weight cream, glides really well & doesn’t feel heavy at all
  • Gives you an even skin tone
  • Stays on the skin for quite a long time
  • Doesn’t break out your skin
  • Doesn’t leave any whitish cast
  • Small amount is required
  • Nice smell

Dislikes:
  • Doesn’t cover the pimple marks specially the deep ones
  • Your t-zone will start to get oily after a few hours, if you have combination skin
  • Dry skin beauties might need a moisturizer along with the cream
  • Doesn’t have SPF factor

Final verdict:

If you are blessed with flawless skin (minus any marks), you are surely going to love this product. As it doesn’t leave any whitish cast, so dusky beauties might give it a try. The main concern is it doesn’t have any SPF factor, so you have to use your regular sunscreen with it. As it doesn’t cover up the pimple marks too well, so I might switch to a different product.

  1. Total waste. This thing does not equalize. Its creates white marks once applied.. I lost Rs 150 still couldn’t use this. Its not friendly as other creams. I can’t even go out by applying it. Others make pranks on me on the first use itself. I will not recommend this to anyone.
