My Take on Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Matte Square 382:

A vibrant eye shadow is not so popular in majority, yet creating different looks and to color coordinate your look with attire is quite necessary also. This shade I would say is perfect for Indians, as we love to play with colors and sometimes shades like this are actually demanded for our traditional looks for different occasions.

The shade is a red with a bit pinkish undertone. This shade is not exactly red; if RiRi Woo is red, then this is not at all red. It looks a bit pinkish red on Indian skin tone (or probably on me!).

The pigmentation is brilliant, one swipe and the skin is covered well. The best part of it would be its texture which is matte. I am not fond of shimmers and hence I bought this. The finish is pure matte with no chalkiness. The texture is very smooth, like velvet.

The staying power of this eye shadow is quite impressive; it stays for maximum 8-9 hours if left untouched. But, if you rub or even touch your eyes, it might starts to fade. I do not experience any fall out or creasing even when I am wearing it for long hours.

Why I like this eyeshadow?:

  • Highly pigmented
  • Pure matte finish, velvety touch.
  • Lovely shade for Indian skin tone.
  • Stays for long hours.
  • Does not fade or crease easily.
  • Affordable.
  • Value for money, huge quantity.

Why I don’t like this eyeshadow?:

  • Can disappear if touched.
  • Shade might be too vibrant for some.

MABH Rating: 4.7/5.

Overall Verdict:

If you are into elaborate eye makeup or even like to go bold on makeup, then go for it. Sometimes, when we opt for vibrant eye shadows, we get shimmery ones, and for that matter, Inglot Matte Square 382 is that perfect one to wear in day time as well as night outings. The excellent pigmentation and velvety finish is just the cherry on top. Hence, I love it!
