My Take on Faces Go Chic Lipstick Rich Lilac:
This lipstick has been gifted to me by one of my friends. When I saw the bullet colour I thought it won’t suit me but soon I applied on my lips I noticed how soft, beautiful and subtle the color is. Faces Go Chic lipstick has a sleek black hard plastic packaging with a silver band mentioning the name ‘Faces’on it; looks very classy and glossy. 😀
The cap closes with a tik sound assuring no mess. The colour is light mauvish pink shade with blue undertones. It has subtle amount of sheen to it. You can notice it in the pic. But the actual colour is much soft and lighter than the bullet.
Faces Go chic Lipsticks contain Vitamin E which protects and moisturize your lips. It’s moisturizing enough to keep your lips soft and hydrated. But in winters you will need a lip balm under it. It scores less on the pigmentation, it is sheer and hence, you will need 3-4 coats to achieve the actual color as bullet. You will notice the colour is quite sheer on single application and can even settle on lip lines. Therefore need good prepared lips; with 3-4 coats it can hide pigmentation on lips.
The colour is pretty everyday kind of shade, but the staying power is weak. It hardly stay put on me for 1-2 hours without any munching. It does not bleed or smudge at all but very easily transferable which I hate.
Why I like this Lipstick?:
- The soft mauvish Pink colour.
- The price.
- Moisturizing and do not dry out lips.
- Glide on lips smoothly.
- Creamy and light texture.
- Do not bleed or smudge.
- Got sheen to it.
- Easily available.
Why I don’t like this Lipstick?:
- Poor Pigmentation.
- Easily Transferable.
- Staying power is very low.
MABH Rrating: 3/5
I already picked up Candy Floss despite being so many cons. 😛 But I love few of the shades from this range. Very pretty and affordable!
