My Take on Palsons Sunmate SPF30+ Gel Cream:

The product met all its claims and impressed me with its effectiveness. The cream is extremely good for the skin as I can see what it has done to my skin. It actually worked as an antioxidant and made my skin smooth. It controls excessive sebum secretion and helped me achieve a matte look rather than a shiny look which I hate. It gives instant powdery effect. It is very water resistant and needs to be removed by a makeup remover.

I apply it after coming out of the bath and 30 minutes before heading out. And reapply it every two hours when constantly under sun. It reduced the redness which is caused by scorching sun and helped with sun burns and tans as well. I used it only for about three weeks but I am impressed with the benefits it has given me. I have used others sunscreen products from other brands like L’Oreal Paris, Garnier, and Lotus, but unfortunately they did not give me an oil-free matte look. The surprising fact is the product itself is powdery in its texture even though they say it is a ‘gel-cream’. I found it to be like liquid talc which is actually a pro of the product.

It is a very light product and does not feel heavy at all. Those who have dry skin should always apply a light moisturizer before applying this sunscreen because it might dry out your skin. I actually have a combination skin with my T-zone being oily and the area of my cheeks and chin being a little dry. But this fact does not cause any difficulties with this product. I apply it on my whole face and neck. Surprising is that this product with a combination of my face wash reduced the pigmentation around my face.

Sunmate is available in medical stores around whole of India. So availability would not be a problem when this product is the question. Those who prefer natural products should not go for this product because it is combined fully of chemicals which are of course helpful for the skin. Also it does not contain any parabens so, no danger regarding that. It gets a little expensive with regular use but you wouldn’t mind because it is such an awesome product. Would you?

Why I like this Sunscreen?:

  • Gives a matte look and controls excessive oil secretion
  • Makes skin smooth with constant use
  • Has high UVA and UVB protection
  • Has PA+++
  • Does not have any parabens
  • Does not have any colour or perfume

Why I don’t like this Sunscreen?:

  • Can be a little expensive with regular use because it is available in small quantities
  • Not recommended for those who have dry skin because this product can make their skin even more dry.

How I Came Across It:

My Dermatologist recommended this product for me because I have an acne prone skin.

MABH Rating: 4/5

Will I buy it again?:

Yes, I will buy it again. I don’t want to miss this awesome product. Thank you for Reading!!
