Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Shade 15 Review and NOTD

by Dharu

Nail polish is something I love a lot. I have good feet, so I love to give colour to it. Besides eye makeup, my hands and feet are the next thing a groom a lot. Since you already know how much I love blue, here is one color from the Elle 18 range in ice blue.

Price and Quantity:

Rs.50 for 5 ml

How to Use?:

A single swipe for glittery chic nails with a bright colour pop.

Shelf Life:

3 years

My Take on Elle 18 Nail Pops Nail Enamel Shade 15:

Packaging: It comes in a transparent glass bottle with a long cylindrical black coloured cap. The cap is really good and easy for application. I totally love the colorful chic on it. The bottle is very travel friendly and doesn’t break easily. I have dropped it a lot of times already! :D

Colour: It is a beautiful ice blue. I am in love with this colour. I have mint colored shoes and this one goes great with them. I also pair it with yellow and black for a colour contrast. Whenever I wear a mint eye makeup I use this one as a match and pair it up with dark colours for a complete look. It has tiny glitters in the same blue colour. The pigmentation is great. On application it tends to look silver a bit so I apply with black to make it pop. One swipe gives pretty good colour.

Texture: It is smooth and takes a bit of time to dry. It can be built up into layers but I prefer two coats only. I usually wear it on top of my dazzler nail glitter which is basically a transparent polish. It helps in holding it longer and for smooth application.

Staying power: The nail color stays for around for 5 days without chipping but if I wear it on the dazzler base coat, it stays for around 12 days without chipping. Over all it is a good one though I thinking of Avon ones.

Fragrance: As usual nail polish smell. I noticed nothing else problematic with this one.

Hope you guys like my NOTD. I took of my feet since I don’t wear nail polishes on my hands usually.

Why I like this Nail Color?:

  • Excellent ice blue colour
  • Single swipe for rich colour
  • Easily available
  • Easy on pocket
  • Very travel friendly and good packaging
  • Does not chip easily.

Why I don’t like this Nail Color?:

  • I wish it stayed for longer time but I am not complaining much for 50 bucks here.

MABH Rating: 4/5

Do I Recommend?:

Yes. It is a really a cool colour but I would say no to darker skinned beauties since this might make their hands or feet look darker

Would I Repurchase?:

Definitely. I love it because I can make simplest nail arts with this one and it goes great with a LBD and mint eye. Need a tute on the eye girls?
