My Take on Avon Ideal Shade Pressed Powder:
This powder comes in a very sleek, black packaging. This is a press-open box with inbuilt mirror. The applicator provided with this pressed powder is more than good. The powder smells pretty nice and mild. So, I am very much impressed with the packaging.
Though it is very difficult to decide proper shade by just the name; but luckily, this shade matched my skin tone. As it is described in the product description, this powder is really silky. It is very easy to apply on the skin, and also it gives a proper coverage. It gave my face a natural yet nice look. This powder is not over powering nor gives a too much makeup look. After applying this pressed powder, my skin gets a smooth and silky finish. About shine, it gives a healthy glow and also shines to my face.
Contrary to the claims, it does not give a matte look, and controls oil for only few hours. Staying power of this powder is quite good; it stays intact for up to 6 hours or more.
This powder did not give me any skin irritations or allergies or even break outs. It appears to be perfect for my natural makeup looks by giving me a proper coverage and smooth finish. Overall, I liked this pressed powder.
