How to Apply Eyeshadow the Right Way? ~ 6 Steps

Hey girls!
This post is solely dedicated to the eye makeup enthusiasts (beginners though). To start it up, like all of us, I had too much interest in eye makeup yet couldn’t try a single look because of the ignorance in that area. Now that I am kind of okay at it, I came up with certain steps to get a neat application of eye shadow.

Steps:

Step 1: Start it off with an eye shadow primer or a makeup base. (I make my own eye shadow primer, if you want to know the recipe, please do comment).

Step 2: Whenever you think of applying an eye shadow, firstly decide upon on how many colours you want to use and what kind of event/program you have and also what you are going to wear.

Step 3: If you want to make a look with 2 or 3 eye shadows, follow this. Always start up with a lighter shade on the eye duct and little over the starting of the eye. Slowly take the second darker shade and apply just after the lighter shade. Later on the crease and outer lid apply the darkest eye shadow.

Step 4: When you are just applying the eye shadow you don’t have to worry about the way it shows up. Because, you may need to blend the eye shadows well after the first formal application.

Step 5: Use a highlighter(a white/neutral eye shadow) near the tear duct area and on the brow bone area to add that depth to the look.

Step 6: Apply an eye liner (either a gel/liquid eye liner or eye pencil)on the lid and if you want to add some drama, you may always extend the line to make it look like a cat eye.

Are you a Eyeshadow person? Do you use it everyday?
