This is my first post on MABH so I am super excited for that and when the post belongs to lipstick (which I love the most among all makeup things), the excitement is something more. Yes, I believe that a lipstick is one of the makeup product which enhances your look to some extent. In the other word you can say ‘makeup is incomplete without a good lipstick’ Am I right or wrong? I always keep one/two lipsticks and a kajal in my purse and each time when I do my makeup shopping always looking for a good quality lipstick at an affordable price and this one what I got is totally justified.
One day when I was searching an online shopping website I saw this brand ‘Diana of London’..Then I googled about it and saw so many good reviews which tempted me to buy this one. Yes I bought it online where this particular shade is on sale so I got a big discount on it.
Price and Quantity:
Rs. 525 for 5 gm (I got it at Rs 345/-)
I told you on my above lines that how I came to buy this brand and I must say it is a ‘Love at First Sight’ lipstick. I am in love with the cute and stylish packaging of it. It comes in a sturdy metallic base with a stylish dark pink color transparent cap which makes it a little different from others and travel friendly.
It is a bright magenta colored lipstick with plum undertones. It is a very gorgeous shade and I think it will suit all Indian skin tones. It gives a perfect party look after application.
The lipstick is very soft and light on lips due to its smooth and creamy texture. The lippie is very hydrating on lips so no need of extra moisturization. A single swipe gives a perfect finish to your lips. It does not dry out my lips or settles into fine lines. I love the velvety finish which it gives after application. It has a slight vanilla fragrance which lasts for a sort.
The lipstick stays for 4-5 hours with a full meal in between. After that you can find a light tint of same color
behind it which is also good to see.
See how it looks on my lips.
Why I like?:
- A perfect party wear shade and suits all Indian skin tones.
- Decently priced
- Nice stylish packaging and travel friendly
- Gives a perfect velvety finish
- Its creamy texture hydrates lips
- Staying power is good
- Highly pigmented
- Available in 20 beautiful shades (online)
Why I don’t like?:
It is not a daily wearable shade. (excluding that I can’t find any cons on that)
Final Verdict: It is a must buy beautiful magenta-toned party shade with creamy, moisturizing finish! And I am looking for some more shades from Diana of London.
