Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Hair Oil Review

by Shabby

Well, first of all I am a girl who seldom oils her hair. I have oily scalp and my hair turns oily every 2 days so I have to shampoo every 2 days to keep it oil free. So I hate an oily scalp. Plus I hate the feeling of greasy oily hair. And most of all I hate the regular oils. I used to oil using Bertolli olive oil but it had a weird sweet smell;

I used to use Bajaj almond oil before that and it’s smell used to give me headache. But now, you must say I’m going off track. But now after using this oil I am so eager to oil my hair every 3 days. Please read on to know why I decided to oil my hair thrice a week. Smile

My Take on Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Hair Oil:

I have had a love hate relationship with Garnier in the past. Their products just seem to give up on me and recently after the much Hyped Garnier BB cream gave me small bumps on my face I literally thought of going on a lifetime ban of Garnier products. But this product really caught my eye. I have some damaged hair as I have waist length hair and it develops breakage and split ends due to regular styling and wear tear. I wanted to give a try to this product and I was pleasantly surprised.

Well to be true I never expected too much from it. As I have mentioned earlier I do not really expect Garnier products to work on me. When I took the oil in my hands I was greeted by a pleasant smell, not too overpowering and sweet. The smell was just right; it kind of faded with time. I wanted to leave the oil overnight but somehow forgot. I used it 5 hours before washing it off and it really worked. Well I have some split ends and they were quite rough and unflattering. With the use of this I have seen the damage slowly repaired. I would not say it works miraculously but it is quite light, is not sticky and slowly nourishes your hair and quite noticeably lowers any damage.

The oil is transparent in color and spreads easily. For my waist length hair I needed only around two tablespoon oil. It did not make my hair feel greasy and sticky and I could easily leave it for the whole day.

Washing it off was easy too. With just one wash from the shampoo it was gone and with two washes I had no trace of it left.
