You would have heard of Johnson’s baby products. Every other visitor comes with these baby gifts for the new born. I hated these products for using on my baby. They are always over powering in fragrance, at least for babies. I even don’t like their wipes because of the fragrance.
Here are the most received Johnson’s baby products which I turned into mother’s products. :-P he he he..
- Johnson’s Baby Oil
- Johnson’s Baby Top-To-Toe Wash
- Johnson’s Baby Shampoo – No More Tears.
Johnson’s Baby Oil:
Price: Rs.45 for 50 ml
This oil is very very thin. It is so thin that it does not even give the sticky feel of the oil. It is mildly fragranced. But the composition of the oil with fragrance caused allergy for my daughter. I had used only once on her, and that one time proved fatal. It just caused rashes every where. :(
Then on I turned it into my make up remover, cleanser before my facial routine, and also a massager.
That way this baby oil performs well. No, I haven’t bought it again. And I don’t plan to buy any soon. I have lot more other oils which I can never finish before they expire.
Overall, if you are looking for a baby oil for yourself, then Johnson’s baby Oil can be given a try.
Johnson’s Baby Top-To-Toe Wash:
Price: Rs.35 for 50 ml
Top-To-Toe wash is a bath product they have made for babies. This is again no less fragranced. The brand has to realize, that the artificial fragrance they add causes lot of problem to babies.
I turned this product into my regular face wash for quite some time. This came very handy while travelling too. It can be used as a hand wash too. Dilute this product with warm water and use it as a mild wash during pedicure. Since, it is a baby product, it is definitely milder than all the products that has been made for we adults.
Yes, I have bought this product again since it was very handy for using and carrying around.
Johnson’s Baby Shampoo – No More Tears:
Price: Rs.150 for 200 ml
This shampoo has been my most used shampoo during the last summer. Though not daily, I have used it very often. And this is one bottle I managed to empty.
Summers leave my scalp very sweaty and hair very limp and sticky. So I have to shower my head every other day which means shampooing every day. This shampoo is surely milder than all the shampoos I have tried so far. So, I could comfortably use this ever day for washing my hair.
But, one thing is, the lathering is not really sufficient for my hair wash. So, in between I used to use some other shampoo. Johnson’s baby shampoo does not strip the natural oils, hence making it good for daily use for adults. I will buy this again when I have to take shower every day. Not now.
