Maybelline’s nail paint range offers great quality and quantity at an affordable price range. The first color I used from their range was the transparent one. Well believe it or not I went to the Maybelline counter while I was in school to ask for the top coat and the SA there handed me the ‘Brillo’ shade saying this was the top coat.
Well returning to this shade I was hunting for a green (For earth day) that will look good on me and found this one. This is a great green shade and I believe it will look good on any one.
Price and Quantity:
Rs.100 for 8 ml
The packaging is simple and also is good for storing too. I find these take up less space than the Lakme ones and Revlon ones. The handle of the brush is easy to use and the bristles work like a charm (No streaky application).
These nail paints come in many colours and finishes with some providing opaque finishes in one coat to some which give sheer color even after 3 coats. This one gives an opaque finish in two coats so that’s a big pro for this shade.
The shade is a dark green which is not too light or too deep. It’s just a perfect green for your hands as well as feet. The consistency is great and it dries in decent time which I find nice.
The nail paint stayed for 3 days on me with no chipping at all and on the 4th day I saw some chipping on the tips. Also the color lost its vibrancy when I wore the color for a week on my toes. But there was very less chipping on my feet. On my feet though I had applied the Revlon Colorstay Top Coat but for this price I feel the result is quite nice.
- Decent pricing
- Great range of color in beautiful and trendy shades
- Good packaging and easy to store
- Nice color payoff
- Only two coats give opaque color
- Stays for max 3 days without chipping
- Some shades give bad color payoff
Do I recommend?:
Yes!! I love this shade and the green is simply perfect for me. Those looking for a good green nail paint in a low price range can give this a try.
Will I Repurchase?:
Maybe.. I may repurchase this nail paint in other shades too.
